“Violet has been a widow for the last year but is still angry and looking for revenge for Roger’s death. She owns a flower shop and grows most of her own flowers. New people have come into Violet’s life as well as an old school friend and all have an impact on her. Holly and her Uncle Devon come in to plan for her upcoming wedding but Holly ends up working in the flower shop and becoming good friends with Violet. Devon finds himself falling in love with Violet and Frankie, her old friend and now a journalist, tries to solve the answer to how Roger died. He also has a romantic interest in Violet. Webster is the young man living next door who is just like a son to Violet and helps out at the store and caring for the greenhouses and flowers. He too plays a part in Violet’s future. God is ever-present, enabling Violet to give him her worries and pray for answers.

“Violet’s Vow is a sweet look back into the 1890s of loss, love, and life. I really enjoyed reading Violet’s Vow. Violet was such a sweet and loving lady that it was impossible not to feel like she was your new best friend and one that you wanted only good things for. Author Jenny Knipfer made the 1890s come alive; the characters all seem real and the plot so very believable. Violet’s Vow would be a perfect Hallmark Movie. It is a must-read for all romantics, Victorian-era historical fiction lovers, and anyone who just enjoys a good book!”
