PHILADELPHIA, PA – October 17, 2022 – Dream Space was curated to bring the community together to tap into the power of our collective imagination and visualize the future we deserve; using mediums of visual art, wellness workshops, and the medicine of music and spoken word.

Come and view social justice inspired art installations from Black and Indigenous Philly based artists; Anna Kim; Edgard Zayas; Tykira Octaviah; Dollie Michelle; Kali Studios; Julian Moore-Griffin of AuFFLUENT Media; Rae.Dianz of Rhapsody by Rae; and Iris Bonner of These Pink Lips. Art installations are on display in the gallery from 12pm-6pm.

The event begins with collective art experiences and  wellness workshops including “Ubuntu-Creating Our Community Vision” by Lenora Magee and a Breathwork session led by Sarahn Sankofa

Workshops will end at 2pm where guests are then invited to join the conversation during our community action panel titled “Unified Action”. Experience the essence of Philadelphia with dj sets, poetry and live music performances from emerging and established artists such as Neptune XXI, Dave G., Jordan Brown, Chaithu Natar, Essence Natay, and Shirmina Geneva.
